          Public Opinion and Policy

          The Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy is a research center at Wilfrid Laurier University which studies issues pertaining to the creation, use and representation of public opinion in the policy process. The Institute serves as a talyst to promote individual and collaborative research on these issues. In addition, the Institute monitors the practices and claims of the public opinion and interest group industries, and serves as an edutional resource to the University and the larger community on questions and issues pertaining to those claims and practices.

          2022 Forum on Public Opinion and Housing Policy

          Housing policy has been an urgent topic in discussions of everyday life in nada. In order to facilitate knowledge about the current state of public opinion towards housing issues in nada, the Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy (LISPOP) invites lls for proposals for a mixed ademic and community symposium on the intersection of public opinion and public policy for housing in Ontario and nada.

          The keynote address was delivered by Mike Moffatt, who is an Assistant Professor in the Business, Economics and Public Policy group at Ivey and is the Senior Director, Policy and Innovation at the Smart Prosperity Institute.

          The virtual symposium was held on October 6th, 2022.?
